We didn't borrow our network. We built it

Every foot of fibre between our core and your living room is ours. No coax dressed up as something else. No wholesale lines from somebody else. Pure infrastructure, owned end to end — which is why your service actually behaves the way the speed test says it should.

  1. 01Symmetrical upload — your video calls and uploads run as fast as the download.
  2. 02Up to 8 Gbps of headroom on the line — built for whatever you connect tomorrow.
  3. 03Latency under 4 ms to our core, on every plan.
  4. 0499.99% uptime. We own it, so we keep it that way.

Data current as of May 2026, sourced from each carrier's published residential plans. Rogers Ignite plans are typically delivered over hybrid fibre-coax (HFC); Bell Fibe coverage and symmetry depend on whether your address is on FTTH (fibre-to-the-home) or older copper. Verify at your address on each carrier's site. telMAX coverage limited to serviced communities in York Region and Barrie. We don't claim to be everywhere — we claim to be the right network in the places we serve.

FAQ

Things to know before you switch

How fast is install?

Most homes in serviced areas are installed within 7 days of sign-up. We book a 2-hour appointment that fits your schedule. Our local technicians run the fibre from the curb to your home and bring it up while they're with you — no second-day return visit, no "we'll call you within 4 hours."

What about the internet I have now?

If you're with Bell, Rogers, Cogeco or Beanfield, you cancel them after we install — not before. We never want a household to be without service in between, so plan a small overlap of a few days. We'll tell you exactly what to do.

Where is telMAX available?

We're live in Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville, Markham and Barrie, with new streets joining the network every month. Drop your address into the bar at the top of this page and we'll tell you in seconds whether we're on your street.

What does the $25 online purchase credit cover?

The credit applies to your first bill when you complete your sign-up online at telmax.com. Combine it with $0 install and $0 activation, and your first month on MAXfibre 2.0 lands at $29.95 instead of $54.95.

Ready when your household is

30 seconds to check your address. 7 days to install. A network you'll forget is even there — until you try someone else's.
